Admin. Assistant, Corporate Affairs

Working with the Sr. VP, Corporate Affairs; the Associate Counsel & Corporate Secretary; and the Chief Financial Officer, the Administrative Assistant will be working with confidential material and will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing the administration of  the Executive, Board,  and Committee  meetings,  including: booking rooms, preparing materials, taking minutes, following-up, ordering meals, etc
  • Managing the schedules for  team members
  • Assisting with the planning of large events, e.g. Annual General Meeting
  • Preparing legal documents, contracts, correspondence, budget documentation
  • Interfacing with lay leaders
  • Setting up meetings, interviews, etc
  • Managing correspondence and other confidential duties


  • Successful completion of post-secondary education
  • Several years of  senior administrative level experience in a corporate or legal environment, working  with  budgets, legal contracts, legislation and/or  governance issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to plan and  organize events
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must be discreet and diplomatic
