The Lower Similkameen Indian Band, situated in the South Central Interior of British Columbia is satisfied to welcome qualified candidates to apply to this position.

Answering to the Band Manager, this part is in charge of the everyday budgetary exercises of Lower Similkameen Indian Band as per group values, group plan, arrangements and bearing from Chief and Council.

The fruitful candidate will have huge and demonstrated aptitudes and capacities created in a senior back part, ideally in a First Nation association. The Finance Manager keeps up strict privacy in playing out their obligations and shows the accompanying individual traits: Integrity, Respect, Trust, Honesty, Compassion and Accountability.

Instruction and Experience

Post-optional training in back and 5 years of experience working with a First Nation association in a monetary position, or an equal blend of instruction and experience;

CMA, CGA, CA or CAFM assignment favored;

Least of 2 years’ experience overseeing, coordinating and driving workers;

Broad ACCPAC programming background;

Involvement in full cycle bookkeeping;

Encounter working with Chief and Council or a Board of Directors and experience gathering and deciphering information, spending plans and measurable investigation;

Encounter investigating, dissecting, translating, assessing and creating arrangements utilizing complex information to deliver proposals to the Council/Board for strategy improvement;

Encounter creating and setting up an assortment of composed reports, investigation, estimating, presentations and other documentation as per Council/Board orders or administrative rules;

Substantial BC Drivers’ License.
